Tod Petersen Named New President at Rocky Mountain Bank

Tod Petersen was named President of Rocky Mountain Bank. Petersen joined the bank in April 2019, as EVP, Head of Commercial Banking. Kevin Tenpas, previous President and CEO of Rocky Mountain Bank, will retire in November.

Billings, MT – October 1, 2019 – “Since joining our team earlier this year, Tod has quickly demonstrated the leadership, skill and expertise we were looking for in the next leader for Rocky Mountain Bank,” said Kevin Tenpas, previous President and CEO. “Tod has the ability and experience to help take our organization to the next level toward growth and opportunity for all of our markets throughout the state. I’m excited to see what’s in store for Rocky Mountain Bank under Tod’s leadership,” Tenpas said.

In addition to his strong leadership experience, Tod’s banking expertise spans across several industries, including agriculture, manufacturing, real estate and construction. He has been able to provide thoughtful solutions and guidance that help clients in these segments achieve their financial goals.

Tod currently shares his time and talents by serving on various boards and committees throughout the state. He, his wife Amber, and their three children reside in Bozeman. Together, they enjoy traveling and many of the outdoor pursuits Montana offers.
